I came to Farrells January 2022 for their winter 10 week challenge and it changed my life. I had struggled with addiction and using unhealthy methods to maintain being a size 8 and I knew I needed to do something to get better for myself and for my kids. I had joined gyms like the YMCA, LA Fitness, etc. but I was never motivated enough to keep going. Gym culture had always been overwhelming and unwelcoming so I often times found every excuse not to go. Farrells felt different the moment I walked in. Management knew my name, the instructors showed genuine care and the community was friendly and welcoming. My cup overflows with new and healthy friends and I get to add to that with each new challenge that brings in fresh folks. This community keeps me going and wanting to be a part of what keeps people coming back is what inspired me to become an instructor. Helping people realize how awesome they are, that they can do hard and scary things, because that is what Farrells has done for me.
